In the fourth quarter of 2024, the travel and local app market in Nigeria showcased varied performance trends across the top five applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive view of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps on a unified platform.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map from Instabridge Sweden AB saw fluctuating weekly downloads, beginning at around 37K and dipping to a low of 10K in late November before rising to 21K by the year's end. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $4 in mid-October. Active users decreased initially from 66K to a low of 38K in late October but rebounded to 46K by December.

Wakanow: Flights, Hotels, Cars, a Nigerian app, maintained stable weekly downloads, averaging around 15K, with a slight dip in December. Active users steadily increased from 177K to nearly 190K by the end of the quarter.

Bella Pro experienced a peak in weekly revenue at $569 in mid-October, followed by a decline. Downloads started at 9.5K, dropping to 5.5K by late November, then recovering to 7.9K. Active users rose from 13.7K to over 21K by December.

Qatar Airways observed significant growth in downloads, starting at 2.3K and reaching 12K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased consistently, peaking at 32K in December.

Finally, Airbnb downloads fluctuated, starting at 5K, decreasing to a low of 2.1K in early December, and ending at 3.8K. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at 25K in late December.
